Uncommon observations of the inner and outer journey

Are you ready to journey?
This site features observations and commentary related to two very special worlds, our earthly travels and our innermost experiences in Consciousness. We navigate these two worlds – continuously and simultaneously.
By going to Machu Pichu above, located in the Sacred Valley of the Peruvian Andes, one can contemplate a form of human existence radically different than our own. By reading the posts on this site, may you be transported to a new and different space, a different way of seeing and feeling, as though traveling to places you have never been before.
What is the inner world? What is the outer world. Are they actually separate? We speak of them as separate and distinct, but what is the experience?
Example: When engaging in a meditation practice, one is typically aware of sensory stimulation from the environment even as mental activity comes and goes. One can notice, sometimes, that mental activity has become quiet. Then in the next moment, perhaps, one can notice that mental activity has become more active. This would be an example of navigating what we call the inner world. Our thoughts, feelings, memories, and evaluations take place in what we call the inner world.
The outer world? Imagine walking into a crowded bus station in a foreign country and managing to purchase your ticket. Then imagine boarding the bus, dealing with your luggage and snacks, and taking the ride. That’s the outer world.
The posts on this site offer glimpses of both worlds taken from the author’s experience. What is your experience?
